Ohio is known as the Buckeye State. With a rich sports and historical tradition, along with some beautiful natural scenery, one could easily spend weeks in this beautiful Mid-Western state and still not see everything. 10 - The Toledo Botanical Garden. Toledo is one of those cities that everyone has heard of, but to few visit. One of the most popular and beautiful places to visit in this lovely city is the Toledo Botanical Garden. There are acres of wildflowers, roses and herbs to gaze at and so much more.

9 – The Cleveland Museum of Art. Get in a little culture while you visit the Buckeye State by taking a day trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Cleveland is home of the NFL's Browns and the MLB Indians, and the world-renown Cleveland Museum of Art. A great trip for families or anyone interested in beautiful works of art.

8 – Cedars Point Amusement Park. If you like fast times and wild rides, you have to visit Cedars Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. You may not have heard of Sandusky, but this little town is home to Cedars Point which has some of the most popular roller-coasters in the world.

7 – COSI Museum. The Center of Science and Industry, popularly known as COSI is located in the capital city of Ohio, Columbus. This is a great place to spend the day with the family. Fascinating exhibits and hands-on fun for kids of every age are the day's fare at COSI.

6 – Kings Island Amusement Park. Everyone loves spending the day at amusement parks, so we've included another famous amusement park located in the Buckeye State. Kings Island is located just outside of Cincinnati in Mason Ohio.

5 – The NFL Hall of Fame. Located in Canton, Ohio, the NFL Hall of Fame is the place to visit for hardcore fans of smash-mouth football. Sports fans could spend an entire weekend looking at all of the historical memorabilia in the NFL Hall of Fame.

4 – The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Cincinnati is the home of one of the best known, and well respected zoos in the world. The Cincinnati Zoo is home to some of the most interesting and exotic animals in the world.

3 – A Cincinnati Bengals Game. Known in Cincinnati as “The Jungle”, Paul Brown Stadium is located on the banks of the Ohio River and is home to the NFL's tenacious Cincinnati Bengals.

2 – The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Visiting the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is a solemn reminder of this country's history. Learn more about the brave men and women who endured slavery and fought for freedom.
