9 – Wild Bill Hickok Days. You've heard of this legendary character from the Wild West days, now come and celebrate his story during the Wild Bill Hickok days in Deadwood, South Dakota. In the middle of every June this town has a festive time celebrating this unique character from history.

8 – Crazy Horse Memorial. You can't read a history book of the United States without reading the story of Crazy Horse. This is a great tribute to an outstanding hero of the Native American people. There are plenty of exhibits and even a fun laser show in the evenings.

7 – Rapid City. In the Black Hills area you can spend a day seeing the town of Rapid City. This town has plenty for you to check out.
